If there even is a season with the CBA being kicked around. Their sense of "pay us" and their pride may have them sit out. If so, teams will look drastically different. Only three Fever players are locked up for next year.

Then she rehabs during the long-*** off season and comes back right for the 2026 season. You only get so trips around the sun to just just not play if you can play.
Having multiple injuries this season and being the engine that makes the league run, she needs to be fully ready to go and she should be protected until someone wakes up the person occupying the commissioner's office.
Check out this missed layup from today when it was still a one possession game. Minnesota went on to beat New York 86-80.

It is what it is. After observing the W intently for the past 1.5 years, no one is waking up. Or at least not enough so that it matters. I’m convinced there are enough important people in power that like this crappy violent basketball that they won’t change.

Friday was a bad day for the Fever. Not only did they lose to the Mystics, but all of the other teams just ahead and just behind the Fever in the standings won their games. The Fever's hold on a playoff spot is pretty tenuous. They are now only 1.5 games ahead of 9th place LA. The game at Connecticut is a must-win.

This is the first Fever game I have not watched since CC joined the team. I knew there was a good chance they would lose to the Sun today, and I didn't want to spend my afternoon being angry again. It seems the game is even worst than I expected. They are not only getting destroyed again by a terrible team, but apparently Sophie is out with injury now. What an absolute disaster of a season. If they are going 0-3 against the Wings, Mystics, and Sun, the season is over.
