Playing against the team with the worst record in the W. Fever got this. Right?
Not if the Sun keep making fadeaway shots with their eyes closed.........
I will say nobody can cry about Caitlin's defense to this point in the game, though I'm sure some Twitter gremlin will still clip a short video to make it look like she has been awful all game...........
It's that stupid "load through to her right" motion she does at times. The more I see her do it, the less I see her make shots......

To be fair, on both these last two possessions the Fever ended up doing the right thing by staying patient for the best possible/least contested shot.
That's why I can't complain about Mitchell there even though that was her usual dribble around until she finds a shot she likes. She at least didn't force it up against two trees.
That challenge should have taken two seconds.
The better Billings plays the less likely we see Dantas, so that is good to see.

That is 2 passes by CC that won't count as assists because of fouls but were really good passes.
Lexi is definitely struggling with her confidence. You can she it even when she's trying to catch the ball and simultaneously set herself to shoot. It just looks shaky.
With Mitchell you're getting a little bit of everything this half as far as her "live by the sword" style. Can't hit an open 3 to save her life, but is doing a nice job cutting off the ball.

9 point lead, I'm going to ignore what I saw and consider that a well-played half. I thought they showed Fat Joe walking to the locker room but it turned out to be Connecticut's coach.
They did a far better job of interior help on the drive in the 2nd Qtr. I'd still like to see them force the kickout when their posts dribble into the lane turning away from the basket. They have the size so if you allow them to comfortably square back up to the basket, they can get the looks they want, even if they don't make them, and you risk fouling as undersized players.

"If" the foul shooter makes at least one free throw then the passer (CC here) will get credit for an assist per Google
Fify......the WNBA has been notorious for shortchanging Caitlin on their stats-keeping.
CC should have at least three more assists. It amazes me how many bunnies and layups these women miss.
