Not gonna update title but thought this game deserved some convo.
Interesting fact CC has 6 former Homer Stallions players. That’s Lockport/JC/PC territory…found it interesting.

I didn’t see this coming.

Thought CC had a great chance to win, but never 47-0.

Thanks so much guys ! Today really was an unforgettable day for Chicago Christian . Didn't see a 47 -0 game coming . I thought after this playoff run we had, we could hang in with Moroa and maybe pull it out in the 4th quarter. This was basically the same team as last year that lost to Moroa 42-6 in the opening round of the playoffs. With 9 guys going both ways, it was truly a testimony to hard work, teamwork, and outstanding coaching. I really didn't want today to end.

Good strategy. Grab some kids who might be second string at a 8A school and turn them into state champs
Yep. Kids getting little time at an 8A school are more than welcome to continue to develop for a smaller private school anytime. The door is always open and if you have a kid who is passionate about a sport (football, baseball, basketball) and is not getting a clear look due to the shear volumes of other kids competing, privates are the way to go.

Very true. Many of our football players play multiple sports at Chicago Christian. It's one of many advantages of a small school. Incidentally, most of our 9 players that played both ways are legacy students where either Mom, Dad or both had previously attended CC

Really happy for your school community. Hope this is the start of a long run of success.
