Offense won’t do much without the pass threat. That drive stalled when Hill started dancing rather than barreling forward.
Shoop needs to make a 17'n adjustment and bring more LBs into the box. Our alignment is killing us because our DL sucks.
Why are they so bad? Right in position to stop the Wildcat run and a WR breaks a tackle. They're straight gashing us. How did our defense go from what it was last year to what it is this year? It's not just 3 first rounders gone. Our guys are soft. They don't play hard. It's embarrassing. It really is.
Defense isn’t the problem. Our offense looks like the Croom Error. Every play we make is due to the players rather than gameplanning or playcalling.
Co-star Defense. These guys are Co-stars, for the past few years they have been near / around the Stars who were actually making the tackles. So this year they're just doing the same thing they've always done, be right there close to the play waiting for a Star to actually make the tackle.
I though Barkley caught a decent amount out of the backfield and Penn St. We need to dump some off to Hill in space. Our offense is very predictable it seems.
We all knew what to expect there. The problem is that the offense has stayed the same or gotten worse than last year.
All things considered the D has played well.
