The thing I never get is the "we're not playing like a top 5 team " - type of argument....as if there's some permanent level of play associated with top Cbb teams.
Cbb isn't anything like it used to be. Early entries have watered down the game and top 5 teams these days, unfortunately, look like UK right now.

What did he say that leads you to believe he was being racist? That's sn awful strong accusation, I hope you have more evidence than what I read to go and call someone a racist. All he did was illustrate how ridiculous the excuses were. I agree, saying we were banged up and injured is an excuse. We were the #1 team in the country and they had 3 losses for a reason. Our B rotation should have been able to win that game but our guys were in a daze and we lost.
Our guys couldn't string together two clean passes in a row at any point in the game. Injuries schminjuries, that's an awful excuse when really all you're missing is Marcus Lee.

Well, I guess that depends on matchups because if an unranked UCLA team with three losses can make us look like an intramural team then I would have to believe there are at least 5 other teams out there that could do the same or at least squeak out a 1 point win over the cats.
They got to rebound and defend better. We may end up being a top 10 team, but we are nothing close to that yet.

I guess I wasn't specifically targeting you,the whole board has been spewing player and team hate ,spouting how this player is a bust,etc since a December loss to a team that wanted revenge for last years humiliation on their home court ,in a hostile environment,with our point guard hurt,our best rebounder got flagrant fouled out by Ichabod Crane swinging elbows with no call,and half the team in foul trouble for breathing.
,I asked to name 5 better teams,Mich St,Duke,Kansas,UNC all have losses,UL played a wussie schedule and lost to the only decent team they played and now everybody is scared of them like chicken littles.
Yes ,Kentucky should have dropped,but no lower than 5,that was not the terrible loss some try to make it out to be,UCLA was a Tourney team that kept everyone from last year but maybe one player I think.
I don't understand bandwagon fans that turn on a dime,

Michigan State doesn't look that great either,anybody that lets Little Brothel manhandle them for 3/4 of a game,they certainly aren't more impressive than UK is
