CharMar Brown has 4 carries for 15 yards 2 catches for 17 yards. Nothing remarkable so far but he's getting touches.

There's something about the lighting, color and sloppiness (mud, rain and humidity) of this game that takes me back. jesus, I hope Nebraska can get their $HlT together before I die.

:ROFLMAO: 😁

Just another dummy who made bad financial decisions.
Shaq said it best...he met with all these finance guys and they all promised him this and that and tripling his money and blah...

Then some old jewish guy met with him and said "We are going to be safe with your money and invest it in low risk stuff and keep you rich" and he went with him.

I get it though, when you have a ton, I am sure you think you won't lose it all and when you start to lose it I am sure you think you can make it right back.

What's insane is they sit all these guys down in a rookie seminar. NBA, NFL, MLB, etc. They show them the footage of case after case of guys who piss away all their money. Don't hire your uncle to be your financial advisor. Don't open a bar with your buddies. Don't knock up 10 different baby mamas. Pay your taxes. But most still go broke within 5 years after their career is over. When your career is over at 30 or 40 that money has to last the rest of your life. They never learn.

I guess they just think "Oh, it won't happen to me", I don't get it.

Because they can’t say “no”. Friends, family, friends of family, everyone has their hand out, everyone wants their piece.
Exactly. Most of these poor black kids get some money and they are supporting their entire family. That and they don't cut ties with many of the bad influences they grew up with.

The NDs mom has been shown a lot. Do they tell her before the game that’s what will happen? Like, she knows, right?

We could've used him. I was in the "we're fine at RB" camp all off season, but we need a banger in there who doesn't go down on the first hit. Especially inside the 10 yard line.

It’s going to be “is he better than what we have” part 2. And in the terms of Brown vs Nelson, the answer is clearly yes, Brown is better than what we have. barthel looking worse and worse by the day

Yep. But on the other hand, Brown was gonna cost a lot of money. It's a tough sell to spend high six figures on a backup RB if you ask me. What about Ives? Is he healthy? That guy is a big athletic dude who could figure in as a way to take some carries off Emmett's plate.

Ives can’t get past the LOS. There was a reason he was going to play football at Monmouth before Rhule was hired here.

it’s tuff to spend money on a back-up but that’s the market. Leaving us with FCS players as Back-ups because we don’t want to spend but yet we spend $84MM on other things for football such as Rhule will pay his buddies $400k to be an analyst. Here’s some good analysts for Matt for free, you need more than one good back and good players win more games then bad player

Notre Dame thinks every team they play views them as a storied rival.

Wish we had a coach as good as them, though.

Honestly wouldn’t mind Miami running the ACC again.
