Anytime Cal has said “we’ll see” about this, it’s not good.
I think they go through the motions of taking off the cast etc to placate the fans but I don’t think he’ll play.

That's just rank speculation, and pretty negative at that. If his father said he cannot further injure himself and it's a matter of pain management, PJ would not leave with the type of legacy he deserves. He wants to win a NC and the rest of the team are like brothers to him. He's playing. Mark it down.

Can’t imagine you’d kick a wall so hard that you sprain your foot and your toes be completely fine. Although I guess you could curl your toes in, but then your shoe would take the brunt of the impact. I just tried it with my toes curled in (in basketball shoes) and my foot feels completely fine. Will update if it swells up later.
Try it again and kick as hard as you can then get back with us.

Pj is not playing guys . Sunday or if we make it final 4 at earliest if at all. Imo you heard it first. My guess is we have seen the last of pj. Hope I’m wrong. Just connecting the dots. I wouldn’t get my hopes up for though.

1. State something definitive.

2. Say that we heard it from you first, even though you're the 5000th person with that opinion.

3. State it was a guess.

4. Hope you're wrong after initially trying to take credit.

5. Admit you're guessing again.

6. End with a vague stance.

Step at a time. I still believe Houston without PJ. Perhaps we see some minutes from him in Regional finals.

There is no way he steps out of that cast at 100% or at full minutes.

My guess is that he will dress, warm up, start for a few minutes so that he can start at least one game this post season and then sit on the bench unless we really need him, (IE, others in foul trouble).

So just wondering how to read into next steps after cast comes off. If he goes back into another hard cast, I assume that would be worst-case scenario in terms of chances of playing this weekend? If he moves to a boot, do we view that as an upgrade? Or is only hope for playing this weekend if he doesn't go back in to either hard cast or boot?
I'd imagine he will be in a boot up until tip in any time that isn't spent out of it directly training or rehabilitating...for "precautionary reasons".
