If Duke loses Stanley for the year, their title hopes are pretty much done.

Injuries are brutal. Coach K getting yet another reminder that freshmen-based teams without depth are a tough way to go.

Hopefully he takes that reminder into retirement after this season. College basketball no longer needs him.

We aren’t very good right now and this loss (Stanely) will be painful. K has his work cut out for him. K just said in his presser that Duke is NOT a top 5 team and may not be a top 25 team (ouch). Nonetheless, I will be here to take the anticipated medicine.
You know you really don't have to be here , and I am pretty sure we wont miss anything related to that fake and phony rat faced bastard or the school he coaches for .

I’ve always said this, but the day that there are very little to no threads about Duke on this board is the day I will have no interest in being here. Thus, my interest in being here is directly tied to this board’s interest in Duke. So, if I’m going to be here, it’s not only going to be during the good times.

It's especially awful for a guy whose game is predicated on athleticism.

The good news is, Duke masterfully recruits 3 stars who come and stay and develop so they won't miss a beat and are completely prepared for an injury.

lts only because they are family. ;)

You're not the worst Duke poster we've had here..

But that's not how this works.. You aren't somehow validated just because a poster decides to talk about Duke. ISIS is in a cave, talking about how they hate the white man.. You're going to walk in and say "Hey, I heard my name and I'm here to give my opinion"?

Or maybe closer to this scenario. There's a Kentucky fan bar, and you're listening from outside for when someone says "Duke", you going to have the guts to plop down, order no food/drink (the equivalent of Duke fans providing no value here) and start being a contrarian?

I've used the above example a dozen times over the years, but it applies. If you're not willing to do something in person, you shouldn't do it behind your computer screen. Why do rival fans feel the need to come here? What does it matter what Kentucky fans think in their own Kentucky forum? And don't say it's to have a great conversation or because this board gets a lot of traffic. Don't try and sell that ********.

Would you believe me if I said yes I would do this in person? I absolutely would and I have. I’ve been to Lexington for work for three weeks straight. I’ve had debates in a bar, a Sprint store (funny as I had a duke home screen on my phone) when I needed to have my phone fixed. I ended up getting a new one. I’ve yet to have a bad experience. Why? Because like here, I act respectfully. On the flip side, and in person, I never had a UK fan tell me to F off or eat a bag of d*cks for simply having the audacity to be a Duke fan and speak up about it.

Funniest analogy I've ever heard.

Funny how a kid from another school can get hurt, diagnosed, and return dated set in less than 24 hours. At UK, it takes up to 30 days or longer to find out how bad an injury is.:grimace:

I’m pretty sure I have never posted on another team’s board. I think it’s disrespectful. Like going into someone else’s house and running your mouth.

Some UK fans on this board do it, though, and it invites rival fans to do the same.

So if you are barking at Duke fans for being here, you need to make sure you stay off the Duke board.

I wonder if the Rat Faced Bastard at Dook will tell the NCAA any losses they might suffer with Stanley out shouldn't count against his record , He has done that before you know ! When he was out with a bad back !

You’re disgusting. Definitely not a UK fan. YOU definitely should be banned. Jesus
I will go on record and say I never want to see any kid hurt from any team. I just despise that fake and phony Rat Face Bastard of a coach who likes to make everyone think he is a saint , when he is far from it.

:100points:

And i would say the same to any of our fans who pull that ****. Stay off their board. Kansas loses, dont care, stay off their board. Its a ***** move to be quite honest.

The worst is these Duke/kansas fans never talk about kentucky or our matchups. They dont care to talk about Kentucky basketball.

Id bet a lot that you arent telling the full story. Its one thing to debate Duke a bit or have a phone screen be something Duke related.. its another thing to pop off.

Now like I said, you're decent. You admit when your team isnt great and show up when they lose. But more often than not Kansas and Duke fans come here saying **** theyd never say in person.
