Casey does not throw well on crossing patterns across the middle. He also does not throw the low ball well.See, I thought he threw behind a couple guys on crossing routes. He hit a few in stride though. The crossing route to Palmer around the 5 yard line comes to mind. He had to jump and slow down for it. Both pics were the same. Not awful throws but throws where receivers had to reach up and back a little.
Let’s not forgot the near pick right before his first interception. It’s like when the wheels fell off, it was all of them.
His boundary throws (with a couple exceptions today) are always good. Throws good down the middle.
The question I have is, when Smothers came in and ripped off a run, why not just let him complete the series? It might have taken NW 1-2 series to adjust to that type of running attack. Just flipping win the game, who gives a **** what style you win in.
