Statesville always has talent and always will have talent but They have a lot of new faces and youth this year on their varsity roster, I believe they only return like roughly 9 total returns or so. Also Statesville has a new staff which is familiar with the Hounds. I think Statesville will be Slight down but still very solid team. I think with youth some mistakes will happen and adjustment will have be made.

Carson: I really dont know a whole lot about them, I think Carson be same ole same ole carson n run the ball a ton n they tend to give statesville fits at time. I think Carson has some talent players but I just dont think they will speed n all to match up with Statesville but given statesville is young , Carson maybe able capitalize on that.

I think this game could be closer then expected but ill go with a conservative score: SHS 28 Carson 14

Well here is the fun part about the board this time of the year. That is talk about the teams that are getting to play and make a prediction. Carson has a new head coach. Statesville also has a new coach. Statesville should have more talent and I don’t see Carson winning this one. Statesville may get a huge win in this one. Going with Statesville 35 Carson 13.

2a north rowan beat carson 14-0, carson was still very run heavy, good LB size, along with a few lineman, not much passing, statesville by 3 Td's i believe

I saw where Statesville won 30-0. I heard Carson not good at all, and Statesville offense has a lot to be desired. It’s early so we shall see .
