Definitely. I ponder him versus Myles Powell. I know Edwards is a point guard, and Powell is an undersized off guard. Still. I just want both to make it. Both were ball heavy guards. Powell and him averaged same number of assist.

Edwards seems like a great kid as well. Best to him!

There's a new rule where you can hire an agent to help you navigate the NBA draft process, but still keep your NCAA eligibility. I don't quite understand it.

Can you really succeed at his size at the next level while needing the ball in your hands a lot?

I think he stays in the league for a while. How his game translates will be interesting.

Good move for him, his NBA stock wouldn't be any higher with another year. It will be interesting to see how highly he is drafted. Obviously he is in range when he crosses mid-court when he is on, but the size is an issue. He measured at 6' without shoes in 2017 at at US U19 team tryout. Probably late first round, could be early second.

He can (and probably will) withdraw and come back. Guys can enter their names to get feedback from scouts. Corey Sanders declared for the draft after his freshman and sophomore years, for instance.

I agree. Not by much, but he does have better athletic abilities.

I think Carson will be a fine pro. Kid can score with the best of them. He also clearly bulked up this year, a fun player to watch when you arent playing him haha.
