That isn't exonerating anybody though. 16 secs of video for who knows how long an incident? Actually feel sorry for the authorities trying to sort this garbage out.

Definitely shows his gf getting hit by the "vicitm" with her purse first. The "victim" started the fight, no question there. Tough to make out Leonte there, but showing that the "victim" started the fight is a good thing. Also, tough to think that there was anything going on that could've caused anyone to "black out for 10-15 seconds". Also, there's no way the real videos are that short, there's probably more.
Well, that was 16 useless seconds. Nothing is actually proven.
Watched the tape, and I believe Coach Flood threw the first punch.:sunglasses:

Isn't more likely that the camera's started AFTER the fight began? Therefore missing what, you know, actually caused the fight?
I'm not sure why this particular video would be released. It pretty much shows nothing. It is too short for anyone to think that it shows enough of the fight to clear Carroo. All releasing the video does is raise more public questions about what happened. If there is a video that really clears Carroo, why not release that one?
That video looks more like an outtake from Cops or even Reno 911. Hard to tell exactly what was going on there.

This video shows SIXTEEN COPULATING SECONDS of an encounter that everyone has stipulated to being several minutes long.
It doesn't start at the beginning and it doesn't end at the end.
So yes - logically, reasonably speaking - it proves nothing.
That conclusion has absolutely nothing to do with anyone's opinion on anything. It's a simple fact. This video is categorically "inconclusive".
So for you to claim otherwise... well, I'm just glad your actual life doesn't encompass any kind of real responsibility.

It was ONLY 16 SECONDS fellas!!! Obviously **** had gone down prior to Leonte ever heading out there as well as prior to this part of the video. This really doesn't tell us very much at all.

If this video shows anything it's that more than Leonte Carroo should have been arrested on that night.

Please don't tell ArminRU I have him on ignore. This forum is much more easy to read with the numerous posters I have on ignore.I don't necessarily think it proves nothing. I would imagine that depicting such a chaotic melee would give additional support to the idea that any potential excessive force from Carroo in breaking up the fight was in appropriate proportion and response to the situation.
Logically, I can absolutely see a lawyer juxtaposing the depiction of the brawl with the lack of severe injuries on the victim. Followed by something like "Given the circumstance, the victim's injury, and Carroo's desire to break up the fight, did he use excessive force?". I think it would be much harder to say he did now that we know a lot about what transpired, as opposed to like a completely verbal fight where Carroo just charges in. Obviously there could be additional information which refutes this theory.

To say the video is not evidence of anything misapprehends the law. To say the video does not PROVE anything is a better statement, but still not correct.
The video is evidence that during the 16 second time span shown in the video, LC did not touch the victim and pulled Ms. Vega away from the fracas. That is a positive piece of evidence for LC.
If his lawyer does his job well, he will build upon this with other videos, eyewitness testimony and "the friend" testimony that this was the extent of his involvement and LC had no contact with the victim.
