It’s a seton hall piece.
going to be a terrible game this year unfortunately. Rutgers bball fanbase is completely full of apathy at this point. And I doubt the team puts up anymore of a fight then it’s recent efforts. How many players on either team have been at the school for more than a few months?! The rivalry would mean nothing to them, it’s basically a pickup basketball game

Watching this RU team they look like a recently assembled AAU team imo.

SHU is also a new team but they have jelled so far and should be big favorites.

Id watch this one from home if I’m an RU fan.

It means less every year

This year should kill any lingering sentiments
I don't know if I agree that it means less every year. I do agree that this year has little to no juice. It's nuts that we have zero NJ players on our roster.

My preference is to continue playing Seton Hall and Princeton every year. It's unfortunate that we picked this year not to play Princeton. I think we would have beaten them this year.

It's a rivalry game. Throw out the records. Anything can happen.
Idk man. That may have been true when the players cares about the game and had played in it for years vs the same kids on the other side and built up some bad blood. Now its just a glorified pick up game at the local YMCA.

These kids have no ties to either schools or rivalries with the opponents

It started to diminish when we joined the Big 10
