Cards look well coached especially on defense - still can't figure out what the hell we do at practice - no hedge no rotation no charges taken

We better get things figured out or we will lose to UofL, in addition to other non conference games and several SEC games. Maybe then some will realize everything is not ok.

You’ll get blasted for your post, but I can’t argue any of it.

I think UL beats us double digits. They are a better team right now. Plus they don’t get called for fouls in proportion to their hand checking defense.
I was curious to see the take UK fans took. Do they go with uofl is better and will beat us...or did they approach MSU as they would our own team.."whatever Izzo is doing just isnt working, ought to cancel season, awful team, sick of this, Izzo just cant coach, this team just doesn't play together, etc, etc" But then I realized, uk fans will go with whichever puts them in the worst spot...thus since we play uofl they are better and will beat us.

UL is what a well coached team looks like. Think about the lack of talent, they have 4 transfers on the team 3 of whom play a lot, a brand new coach who brought in all in new principles on offense and defense, no team trip in the summer to gain extra practice. And guess what they look totally competent on offense and defense. Imagine that. How can one guy have all those setbacks and put it in all those offensive and defensive sets and principles and our guy says we can't put in out of bounds plays or zone defenses because we don't have enough time and it's too complicated. Think about that for a second and ask what yourself is our coach that unsophisticated or are our players that ignorant?

I think it's a little of both, UL is pretty good and Michigan ST is still figuring things out. They definitely play hard and very well could beat UK by double digits. I would like to think that Cal will have our guys playing some good defense by then after hearing his post game interview the other day. He just kept talking about how that's all they are going to work on so we shall see.

I agree. Mack will definitely make his FIRST Final 4 at some point. He is leaps and bounds above Cal in the coaching department

That’s what was said about Pitino at UL too. Can you remind me what Pitino’s record was against Cal?

So you win either way, right? We lose, you say I told you so and if we win you join the celebration. Weak.

I thought Louisville was supposed to be bad this year. Did I miss something?

Mack is a hell of a coach. I am up in NKY so saw alot of Xavier games. He always has teams ready. XU has always been stepping stone to a better job and Mack is probably the best of the bunch.

I don't think they can beat Cats though. I am one who think we are improving. Really looking forward to Carolina game to see where we stand.

What? This is a message board where people post things good and bad, not a contest. Sorry you seem to think that was the point.

Not too long ago I was 100% sure we’d clobber UofL and now seeing as how we’ve gotten the piss beat out of us by Duke and haven’t looked good in other games and UofL looks pretty good, maybe we should prepare. You want everyone to state some sort of solid prediction one way or the other? Ok whatever.

No, pal, it’s your smarmy comment about “maybe then some will understand that all is not well.” Like you know more than others. Like you have any clue how the season will play out.

Mich St will probably come back and win but they are overrated.
