Tim if something is misspelled, you'll have to point it out to me. I've developed "low vision" as a result of macular degeneration, so I have trouble reading computer screens (and sesveral other things)

Massey has the game as a tossup, but I don't think the computers know that it's a home game for MC. And even if it wasn't, Carmel will be really good, maybe better than last year.
Massey has MC ‐3 at home, but let me guess, if Massey had MC as a 10 point favorite you'd think it was accurate.
The game against ESL will be Thomas Elliott's debut, as it was for his brother Jack in 2023. I expect the outcome to be the same. And then, at home the following week, I expect the Caravan to put St. Joseph through the shredder.

I'm going off that video, which seemed to crown him as the starter, as it grouped him with five or six of the best varsity players.

You say the same thing every year.
That could only happen if they are practicing outside of the season. And of course that wouldn't be happening
He's extremely talented and it's definitely a good possibility he wins the job but I know nothing has been decided or will be until summer workouts. There are other talented options in that building let's see who picks up the offense and makes the right decisions and throws when workouts begin. If it's him, great, 3 year starter with good bloodlines. If not he will learn for a year as a backup like his Jack did. That video didn't crown anyone just yet. There were the obvious starters in there and their was a couple that will be fighting for spots that were also included in that video.
Maybe seven years ago ... last game was 3 points ... and Flyer left triple that on the table, sadly.
I maybe wrong here but I think MC had about 3 plays that went over 15 yards in the game. They nickel and dimed them down the field and made ESL jump offsides at will that game so they got a lot of help from penalties. MC gave them a lot of short fields in the 4th quarter by not punting and that wasn't a good idea.
A tense, exciting game that could have gone either way, except the Flyers got gassed out on a hot August night. Gassed out and cramped up.

Whoever beats out Elliott will be very good indeed. Ryan D'Andrea may be the one. His highlight reels on Hudl are impressive.
They cramped vs Fenwick in December. True stuff. IVs, Bananas and pickle juice before the games!
Yeah, for sure—none of that excuse stuff really matters.
Both programs respect each other and know what the other brings, so it’s not like anyone’s overlooking anything. They’ll both be ready. At the end of the day it’s simple—who executes better, makes fewer mistakes, and handles the moment wins.
