(in a coach K nasally Midwestern voice):
"I go to the graveyard to get inspired. The dead show me how to properly utilize defensive posture with their arms at their sides, their knees slightly arched and ready to take a charge, and all of them have the proper post-charge defensive stance as they lie there in their coffins. Some folks call it "flopping", but I think that's disrespectful to the geniuses in our sports. Some of the best minds in all the world are showing how to play solid defense by taking a charge: John Wooden, Red Auerbach, Adolph Rupp - you can't tell me Wooden and Auerbach are just lying there for nothing. They've been speaking to us this whole time, and they've been telling us what proper defensive position looks like. I'm just glad I was the first coach in the history of our sport to notice what these giants of the game have been saying since they passed away. After I get inspired, I go back to Durham and tell the gang, 'Hey fellas, don't just be tough like your mothers, but be tough like the dead. Or, if you prefer, be tough like your dead mothers. If they can play proper defense all these years, so can you.' I think the guys really get inspired by these talks. I know I do."
