I'm not one to wish the summer and football season away but man, cant recall the last time I was this excited about a hawkeye bball season! A legit coach and a well rounded roster... its amazing that a B10 championship and final four, while still tough, isnt total crazy talk

How well the 3 freshman and 2 key transfers mold into the system will be determinative, I think. I suspect it will be a little rocky until some time in January (hopefully sooner).

But, agree, adding a 7ft2 Center and also - in my opinion - one of the better PG transfers makes me anxious to watch it all come together under BM’s coaching.

Thanks to Trent Condon and LOH Podcast for this update with Coach. Glad to hear that Trey Thompson is still shooting well and working hard to get there defensively. Here's a quick rundown on the team:

Trent always looks like he's freezing. :ROFLMAO:

I have to agree completely! I've been thinking about the Men's basketball team everyday since the NCAA Tourney. I've been watching the Florida game, Nebraska game and recently the Clemson game. Reading and watching anything I can about the recruits and future recruiting, I'm definitely back into following Bball like I did with Lute, Raveling and Davis.

There were many times in the tourney that Stirtz was with Koch, Sage, Cam, Combs, and Howard and they are all coming back. And now you add Thompson, Harris, Coleman and McKeever?? Watch out!! I know Stirtz is a huge loss, and Banks and Folgueiras were pretty important, but it seems like we should have more talented parts the coming year to have a better overall record. It will be tough to match the NCAA tourney run, but the parts and pieces look pretty good. McCollum in a recent interview mentioned that he has a pretty talented team for next year. I can't wait!
