Canceling Conference Tournaments

I don't think Con 34 will have any games this week. There is still a lot of ice on back roads and frigid temperatures will be here tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.

So, I heard that one last-resort option would be to cancel the conference tournament and send the existing top four seeds to the regionals. That would hurt teams like Brunswick who have a legitimate shot at winning a higher seed. That is a tremendous advantage due to the long travel that will be required for some match-ups and a higher seed would have home-court advantage. However, there may be no other choice. There is a chance of another storm next week!

Has anyone else heard this as an option?

I have heard they will be played next week if not able to play this week.

Aren't the regionals slated to begin next week? That would make alot of teams playing 4 or even 5 games in 6 days

Conference 3 playing next week. Conference 44 planning to do the same.
