How do you get to be a journalist without understanding that "must of", "could of", and "would of" are not English phrases?

That's a classic message board mistake, but not something I expect to see from a writer. He's trying to write "must've" which sounds just like "must of", but "must of" is not English. It's either "must've" or "must have".
