I don't think we can beat a team as good as you guys in the postseason, without your help. We just don't have the pitching depth.

If Hoglund was healthy, I would honestly feel like we were a potential national title contender, with this lineup and with Doug going the game behind him. Without him? I don't know that we can make it out of our own Regional. He was that important to our team. Him and Doug helped to mask exactly how bad our bullpen is, outside of Broadway, because they were giving us 13-14 really good innings a weekend.

7-5 in their last 12 games. They're a good team for sure, but losing Hoglund is a major blow to their NCAA tournament chances.
