Why wont Cal let them play fast against Purdue? We won’t be in transition against Purdue in the ncaa tournament. Cal isn’t going to let them play fast I’m telling y’all. Oscar can’t get 20/20 against a 7’4 big. Hell he around 10 and 10 in that game. We will have to have Ty and Grady turn it on big to beat Purdue.
With the way Cal will play right into Painters hands this game is a matchup issue.
He went agaisnt 7 foot 6 Jamarion Sharpe and dropped 28 rebounds on him....For the record, Kats has Purdue beating us. I think of people look at that game it’s a matchup issue in a lot of ways with how we play. Oscar has never gone up against a player with the size of their oaf. Not saying we don’t matchup in places but that’s only if Calipari lets them run and I don’t think he will. He’ll play into Purdue’s hands.
You mean 15-13 in NCAAT games Matt Painter? Zero Final Fours Matt Painter? 1 Elite 8 Matt Painter?Man I don’t agree at all. Purdue is a huge matchup problem for UK in my mind. Painter vs. Cal doesn’t make me feel better.

Kentucky may very well lose that game but to even imply that Painter holds a candle to Calipari is a joke and reveals some agenda you’re pushing about Cal.
That’s fair. I misinterpreted your point in that case; I apologizeI wouldn’t trade them. That wasn’t my point.
Painter is a really solid floor coach. He’s not at a blue blood he’s at Purdue. His record is quite good considering. He would already be at a better job but won’t leave.
Calipari hasn’t been to a final four since he was able to pull elite talent. We need to be careful of how we’re suggesting the criteria for solid coaches.
Painter runs a style and coaches in a way that could make things very tough for a win with Calipari’s methods. I don’t like the matchup or the coaching matchup GIVEN the matchup. This is a Bo Ryan type of theme with preparation.
I really think more should know what they’re talking about before just spouting everywhere. I learned that the hard way with Stoops I’m sure you remember.
To be fair the rim kept that dude’s lateral movement limitedHe went agaisnt 7 foot 6 Jamarion Sharpe and dropped 28 rebounds on him....
