Can we beat KSU without TS?

[SyonaraStanz]

I know nothing of KSU. Also, will KT be available?

[Diggin Out Yo Wife]

Short answer - no. We might not beat them with Stevens. Very glad it’s at home.

[TBone.sixpack]

KT’s mobility may be needed. Tackling has to be much much better.

No

[She Mate Me]

YES!!!

[Duggar Hall Desk]

K State beat Bowling Green 56-0 today. Regardless of Bowling Green's quality, 56 is a lot of points and the Wildcat defense got a shutout.
I am worried - Stevens or no Stevens.

I feel like we’ll see a slow tempo run heavy game plan run out of a lot of max protect sets.

KSU has run for 350 yards in each of the first two games vs Nicholls St. and BG. If they come into Davis wade and rush 60 times for 300+ yards then we deserve to lose. Not sure how bad BG is but they were 3-9 last year.

I expect to see a lot of people losing their **** at more missed tackles (hello Leo), the quickest game time of the year, and a bulldog win.

[Dawg1976]

Agree. Can't see us winning this one. Hope I'm wrong.

Silliness. Kansas State isn’t much better than USM.

[SirBarksalot]

Really? When did KSU become a juggernaut? Of course we can.

[Msubulldogfan1]

They’ve looked impressive.

I feel like it’s 50/50 right now.

[LawDawg97]

And we may be ranked, so there’s that. Syracuse and Nebraska both lost.

[Cap'n Geech]

For what it's worth, both Southern Mississippi and Louisiana are better than both Bowling Green and Nicholls.

[TaleofTwoDogs]

We win if:

- TS is back
- Defense continues to improve (tackling is still an issue but was improved over ULL)
- Special teams play solid and continue with the touchbacks on kickoffs. (Day has been a nice surprise)
- + turnover margin, keep mistakes to a minimum
- Play aggressive on D

[ColoradoDawg]

I think we have a chance if we have the right game plan. If we can get an early lead, control the ball, and keep them off the field then I think we have a shot. I sure as hell wouldn't put any money this game though.

[BossDawg78]

Does anyone know the status of Tommy?

[msudawg1200]

Holy crap people. If Stevens plays we win by 17-20+. If he doesn’t 10+.

[MedDawg]

Bowling Green gave up 42 or more points SEVEN times last season.*

For what it's worth, both Southern Mississippi and Louisiana are better than both Bowling Green and Nicholls.

[Eleven Bravo]

Come on. Kansas State has beaten 2 terrible teams-teams that aren’t as good as the 2 teams that we’ve beaten.

[mdm3045]

Kylin Hill can beat K-State by himself
