Climbing back into first place is possible, but improbable, not with the erratic performances of my alma mater. But, hey, last-place Baylor knocked off one of the big boys, so we’re not alone in blowing games.Press Virginia was not up to the task against Oklahoma State, even with Carter’s career-high 33 points. The Big 12 is an awesome conference to watch. I’m glad WVU is part of it.Great training for March Madness.MONDAYTCU at West VirginiaTUESDAYKansas at Iowa StateOklahoma at Texas TechSATURDAY, FEB. 17West Virginia at KansasTexas Tech at BaylorMONDAY, FEB. 19Oklahoma at KansasTUESDAY, FEB. 20West Virginia at BaylorWEDNESDAY, FEB. 21Texas Tech at Oklahoma StateSATURDAY, FEB. 24Kansas at Texas TechIowa State at West VirginiaMONDAY, FEB. 26Texas Tech at West VirginiaTexas at KansasSATURDAY, MARCH 3West Virginia at TexasKansas at Oklahoma StateTCU at Texas Tech Big 12 StandingsTEAM CONF OVERALL<a href="http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/2641/texas-tech-red-raiders">Texas Tech</a> 9-3 21-4<a href="http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/2305/kansas-jayhawks">Kansas</a> 8-4 19-6<a href="http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/277/west-virginia-mountaineers">West Virginia</a> 7-5 18-7<a href="http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/2306/kansas-state-wildcats">Kansas State</a> 6-6 17-8<a href="http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/201/oklahoma-sooners">Oklahoma</a> 6-6 16-8<a href="http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/2628/tcu-horned-frogs">TCU</a> 5-7 17-8<a href="http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/239/baylor-bears">Baylor</a> 5-7 15-10<a href="http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/197/oklahoma-state-cowboys">Oklahoma State</a> 5-7 15-10<a href="http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/251/texas-longhorns">Texas</a> 5-7 15-10<a href="http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/66/iowa-state-cyclones">Iowa State</a> 4-8 13-11</blockquote>
