Why do we have the 2nd to lowest budget for athletics in the SEC? Is it boosters? Is it administration? I don’t really get it. Are we just truly that poor? Higher budget equals higher success in my opinion. I may be wrong, but I feel like the university doesn’t take football seriously at all. Aside from Mike Leach..all of our head coaches since Croom have been unproved coordinators, unless you count Croomhead’s tenure at fordham. Make it make sense please.

It’s the state we live in. Smallest and poorest state in the SEC and we split it between 2 schools. We could do more and commit to being better like our rivals, but there’s a ceiling, and it’s no better than middle of the conference.

Why does Missouri have the smallest? Big State, one SEC school in state and not poor and they would have a good shot at wining the West this season.

Correct. And we don’t care to financially support our team as much as our peers. The number BDC members we have compared to other schools is significantly smaller.
