Other than for news like a hurricane or the Idaho college student murders or stuff like that, I already ignore the MSM and there are more people like me than you think. (I include Fox News in the MSM.) The MSM has become more and more ridiculous and their response to "You guys better be careful because you're losing the trust of the public" was basically "F**k you, we do what we want." Okay, you do what you want, and I'll do what I want, which is ignore the MSM.

Some people act like the MSM are some detached moral arbiters of truth and reality. Instead, they are arms of giant corporations and their job is to serve the interest of those giant corporations while posing as news outfits.

I can’t tell you the last time I turned on MSM, to include Fox. I can’t stand the “segments” and point/counterpoint in 3 minutes or less format. It’s garbage.

I’ve switched to long form podcasts for news where you can actually get into the meat of a topic to better understand the nuance. It’s why reading these takes from the left leaning guys on here is amusing. It’s so low brow MSM sound bite driven, it’s ridiculous. They clearly have done zero research on the matters and are just told what to think, what to be outraged about, and soundbite talking points. In short, they’re morons just rooting for a team.

I watch fox first take from 5 to 6 a.m to see what's breaking for the day then read about what I found interesting.
About 2 years ago I started reading several left leaning news articles a day it started with covid articles. Now I read them trying to find fact based reasoning for Democrats beliefs.

All msm is a fvcking joke. And yes, that includes Fox News. It’s all geared towards the 2 bases of conservatives and liberals. Constant drama and manufactured rage.
