Their 2018 recruits are ranked 12, 41 and 53. Villanova is now a team battling for top 75-100 players . A guy ranked around 150 is now a Plan C guy for Villanova.

My point is...I think they are now targeting much higher level recruits. They can do better than 145, unless that recruit has a special skill that fits their system. In this case, the answer is no. He is not known as a great shooter and Villanova spreads the floor with Shooters.

Rutgers needs shooters/scorers regardless if they buy into defense which can be learned during practice.Villanova has mastered the new college game emphasizing the 3 pointer while Rutgers is still searching .
