I haven't watched his film yet but others said his mechanics are somewhat wonky and that if they can be cleaned up he'll be a better QB. I think the staff likes his football IQ and see the mechanics as something that can fixed.

not confident at all at this time in our backups on scholly. have to have someone able to consistently complete short first down passes and finish a few drives.
