I sometimes wonder what will happen first we win a game in the dance or win the West in football. My money is on Hoiberg.

With the way college basketball works I think its easier to win a first round game. In basketball you only need to find five or six guys and get them up to speed. Football takes 22 plus.

It makes sense and the low expectations are probably good in a situation like this. But I think we will be more competitive than that.

My first thought was Frost winning the West. Then your post made me think harder about it and I think you’re right. Even though Frost has a head start, only one team can win the West per year, as opposed to numerous teams winning the opening round ncaa tournament team.
