Sanders, Mensah & Dadika had the same number of points,,,ZERO
Hey at least Baker kicked in a bucket

I try to be encouraging but
this wasnt a team that struggled
this was a team that embarassed themselves

Thank God for Thiam, Omoruyi, Sa, Freeman & Doucoure
Sanders & Baker (a combined 1-16) could have stayed home

very embarrassing

I don't know about Dadika, but it's unlikely at this level he can score. I've seen enough of Mensah to know he probably can't score.

My point (no point intended) is that D's don't win Basketball games....you HAVE TO SCORE: PERIOD!

Get Dadika to chuck up a couple of 3's. If he makes em great....if not he can't join the rest of the team- they can't make em either.

Dadika is a defensive deficiency on the court. If he can’t or won’t shoot also, he is serving almost no purpose..except giving a starter a brief rest...that’s not enough on this team.

I say it over and over again every game to myself
we just dont have enough weapons

Playing time is based on how well you play defense on this team
When they get to the O.......its a quick pop
and race back to D

It comes down to talent. With Williams out, the team essentially has two guards (Sanders/Baker). It is almost impossible to win in this conference like that.

Said this two years ago with EJ - You don't need great players to play great defense, only good athletes. A lot of people disagreed with that. With Pikiel stressing defensive fundamentals you can see it now. The only reason we are even in Big 10 games is the defensive system the staff has put in. They know that. Offensively, we just don't have enough talent. Mensah and Dadika shooting more certainly isn't the answer because neither of them can shoot. Both are low level D1 players at best, and I'm not sure Dadika would even be that good a D2 player. Pikiel has this team so playing over its head that many suddenly believe we are good, and then look to blame the staff when we lose. We don't have enough offensive talent to consistantly win in this league, and it's only our defense that keeps us in games. If the staff spent less time on defense in practice and more on offense we would have five less wins. They're doing it right with what they have.

Didn't Dadika win the 3 point contest at midnight madness? He certainly can't create for himself but if he's wife wide he needs to fire.

He's hesitant to shoot. I think he's a team guy and feels like there's better options and he doesnt want to waste possessions like some others we have on this team.

Said it before, he is a good kid but is physically overmatched at the D-1 level. He would be a 15 pt D3 player. IF he hit a couple of 3s in a game the opponent could shut him down by putting a D1 body on him to challenge his shots. And at this level he is a rebounding and defensive liability. So please give the Dadika stuff a rest and pull for him to give us a few hard played minutes here and there and at mop up time.

Dadika took one 3 pointer all year and it hit the side or top of the back board.

He is Ricky's boy...but he aint Ricky.
