Some chatter about this guy. Possible recommit, and if so has he been told something about the next HC?

Just based on recruiting, I would say the head coach has been determined and is signing off on all offers amd that it's either Mickey or Mickey is staying as the associate head coach.

Or we have a head coach verbally committed and Busch and Mickey are assuring the kids that they’ll still be on staff.

Okay, sounds like we need to ask this Cameron character himself. We need to put this subject to rest. Let's get some Inside Nebraska scouts out into the field to ask this high schooler who the coach is, what he knows, how he knows, and who his sources are.

That wouldn't be scary, creepy, and pathetic at all...

This may be a dumb question but do we really want to sign all of the recruits who committed to Frost? Will they fit whatever schemes we want to run?

My guess is if we would take his commitment once again, the coach (whoever it will be) thinks he will fit what we want to run. If not, we would tell him to go somewhere else. But I don’t think the offer would be available if we didn’t want him.

They could not disclose that.
they most certainly can tell recruits that no matter who gets the job that they have been assured that they'll be retained on staff. Mickey can say "well I still have a shot but in any case the AD has told me I'll that at the very least I'll still be on staff. NU is a special place and no matter how this turns out I want to be there". That's a powerful message to a recruit.

I know there is speculation that Mickey wouldn't stick around if he doesn't get the top job, but I think he already knows he's not. This charade will end probably the Sunday after the Iowa job. There is no reason that they wouldn't have named Mickey already IF he were getting the job.
