Sixth game of his collegiate career. He was not a top 25 player. Really not top 40. And he is actually crying because he is not playing? Seems similar to Whitney situatoon. Heavy odds he transfers out before season is over!

Now Cal please give Allen some of Boston and Clarks minutes before we lose him as well. Can you imagine how much better our shooting would be with Juzang and Baker.

Part of the culture problem in the program. Entitled kids who expect to be a star on day 1. It’s players first and they do not expect to earn it here anymore.

Cal has to do a better job identifying players that want to buy in. Major fail job on Green, Fletcher, Whitney, SKJ, Vanderbilt, Juzang, Wynyard, Briscoe, Diallo, Hagans, EJ, Baker, Gabriel, Skal, Matthews, etc.
Bingo....why only at UK we literally can't get guys to buy in to developing for 3-4 years where literally every other D1 team can convince some players to play a role and be collegiate players alongside of NBA kids...we are literally the only school that can get 20% of our players that want to stay for 3-4 years.

- Kansas has a Jr and Sr in their starting 5
- Mich St has 2 Jr players starting
- UNC is young this year....but their leading scorer is a Sr

We are the only team that literally never fills our 13 man roster every year and has hardly ever a Jr/Sr in sight.

Guy sees the **** on the floor I’d want to play too. Cal has basically admitted to giving guys a bigger leash than others when questioned about Allen not playing much
Couldn't be! @DerekMcPwn and others said we were crazy for thinking Cal doesn't concentrate on higher rated players. While ignoring other players. He blew our theories all to hell!!

Hope it is a big wake up call for Cal. We can’t win it this year. No chance.

Play all of them and let them develop and get experience to get ready for next season.

I think some of those guys buy in to being 3 or 4 year college players. They just decide to not be 3 or 4 year college players at Kentucky because they come to believe they’re always going to be buried behind the latest set of five stars that come in behind them.

Go 10 min without a FG, and we have a guy who scored 46/ game——that hasn played 1min n 2 games. What would it hurt to give him some run? Is he gonna miss shots —-like everyone else?
He played 20 minutes from me. I played his team once, my sister did 3 times before going on to play on scholarship in college. He's not overly athletic, his handle isnt good enough to create his own shot, and he was shooting over 5'10 un-athletic players. He can't defend at this level yet and isn't necessarily a rebounder.

I hate saying that to because he played in a region that we play a lot. But it hasn't been good since the last year before Cal got here. Darius

*edit, I mentioned his handle because if we actually had a point guard to set him up he would be a great fit. He needs an average point guard and he can utilize his skills. With this team, it wouldn't do him justice

Every time I've watched this season it looks like five Archie Goodwins running around on the court. Bunch of selfish SOB's all trying to get theirs. Starts at the top. Almost always does.

Our whole culture is me, me, me. I guess he’ll be this years mid season transfer.

Don't blame the kid, blame the person who told him if he come to UK he would be rich after one year, when he went to the NBA. He is now realizing he cannot get to the NBA if he doesn't play. Cal didn't tell him that part.

The guys on our bench could start and not fare any worse than the starters. Every game this year we’ve had guys just mailing it in. At least this dude is fighting to get in the court. Half these other guys seem like they fighting to get off it. Stupid fouls, reach ins, effort fouls, you have to adjust your game to how the refs are calling it. It’s called Basketball IQ and we have a low one.

Is Cal still your hero?

Y'all don't understand. It is the schedule. Cal should not have put this team in a position to have to play this murderous schedule. 23rd ranked UNC is a little too much. Next year we will get back to Evansville

And next week it gets worse. We play a team that got beat by over 40 points. And on their home court. Cal screwed up with the schedule big time

Tubby never lost 5 in a row

Your correct. The LAST time it happened, was 1926. I'm "old as dirt," and I wasn't even born then. I can honestly say, This is the worse lost streak I have ever seen, and so can the rest of you. Cal is setting ALL kind of records at UK. Besides giving us the longest losing streak in my and all of your lifetime, he broke our hitting threes streak. Wait ot go Cal!

I think I have the solution. Offer scholarships to every kid in Kentucky . Take the best ten. Let the assistants run practice. Plays zone the whole game. Cal sits on the bench and doesn’t yell. Just says stuff like do your best. Better luck next time. Don’t worry, you still get ice cream after.

Then Cal and Mitch do the post game show. Laughing their *** off, they answer every question with. ‘This is exactly what they asked for!!’

It's becoming obvious Kenny Payne was the one coaching and keeping the players feelings under control.
Just watching on tv it is apparent to me that Kenny was Kenny during the games, which was pretty much the opposite of Cal's temperament. On the other hand just from a few glimpses of Bruiser Flint I think he his more of a Cal clone. The Chemistry on the floor is not good and I don't think the Chemistry on the bench is any better!

I’m not convinced Cal is about anyone “buying in”, rather who can he recruit to pad his NBA draft stats!

Its about draft picks, not W’s or Championships!

And before someone comes in with the ol’ “Cal has more wins than any other coach the past decade!”, well, no ****, those other coaches would too, if they had the same talent to work with that Cal has had!

I’m been trying to get rid of that for weeks now

It's not a big deal. Cal was a hero for a lot of us when he come here. I was just teasing with you. ALL IN FUN! I try and never get to high, nor to low. I NEVER forget, "It's ONLY a game." When you get 81, as I am, you never take anything to serious.
