Campus coming to life

[RevWGL]

Just walked across campus and things are much busier today. They are putting a fence around a big chunk of the old intramural fields on Stone Blvd. Wonder if this is to make space for socially distanced practices?

Otherwise things do look a little busier than earlier in the week. Vet School is going full speed. All campus lots are showing a few more cars.

Every time they fence off a space like that it is usually a new building or parking.

Is the parking garage still in the plan's over by the Hump?

Last I heard those fields were intended to be more parking.

Ate at two brothers Wednesday night bc I was in town. It was pretty packed and bulldog burger and bin had good crowds too. Good to see.

I don't know if this is what it is for but in the Master Plan, they are going to be extending Morgan Ave to Stone Blvd at the intersection with Sooner St.

Don’t be surprised if the fall semester schedule changes for MSU. Southern Miss announced a change in its semester yesterday.

This is being done in tandem with the overhaul of Blackjack Rd.

Also, they are about to start construction of the new music building on Hardy, between the band hall and Rula Engineering Center (still under construction).

I think this is a good plan....If MSU does this it gets the students back in Starkville sooner and gets the local economy jump started earlier....
