I don't think there is much media or public access allowed, so it might be tough to get solid info. However, here are a couple of things I'd keep an eye on:

1) RB battle. Which freshman makes the move?
2) DT rotation. Need two guys to step up.
3) How healthy is Kendrick Market?
4) Is there a shuffle at LB?
5) OT battle

Zero public access, media has 3 practices they'll get to cover the stretching basically. Info will be on lockdown.

Yeah, which sucks. We usually get a couple weeks of partial media access at least right?

I wonder why it's in such lockdown mode? It's not like we are opening with Bama, etc

It's a good thing. Why should your opponent read are see anything that is going on? As for as Usm, never underestimate your opponent regardless who you are going up against.

I think it was pretty tight last year as well. I rarely go out there, figure everybody else will cover it. Don't really need a 7th opinion on what Mullen is saying.

I think it's because we're going to sling the ball around the yard, and they don't want all that out there.

I was very surprised that Senior didn't slide over to LT in the spring. That's something to watch. Senior at LT with Rankin at RT. Then Rufus as your swing tackle backing up both spots.

I'm kind of enamored with Nick Gibson. I hope to see him make a move up the RB depth chart.

Market and Jackson are 2 guys the coaches are going to play even though I think we need to shuffle it up with guys like Bryant, JT Gray and eventually Peters.

Good call on DT rotation. We need Cory Thomas to really step up.

I think Thomas could be huge. I'm just curious if we see Braxton Hoyett, Moton, or any other newcomers make a rotation.

I saw Gribson play a couple times in HS, and I wasn't just blown away with the kid. Maybe he played a little gimpy, but there were a couple times he didn't quite seem to be able to outrun an angle on him. He's definitely shifty though.

Everything I keep hearing is that Warren and Senior have solid handles on the OT positions. I agree though, it'll be a battle.
