Almost reminds me of the game a few years ago when ESPN showed the entire game from and overhead camera at mid court. I notice they haven't done that again.

I remember that I along with thousands emailed and called ESPN during the game and it stopped in the second half. I was going to have to turn it off as I was getting motion sickness.

Is the Boise camera angle like that?

Here's a comparison where it stands out more.

Normal

Upper atmosphere

Might not be to bad to some but it annoys me.

And Skipper claims cocaine never impacted his job performance.

They could if they didn't ask to be an opening round location with inadequate facilities for fans and cameras. Having a 13k arena is a bit small to host in my opinion anyways. It isn't bad I guess with the location being a total of 13,653 miles away for the 8 teams there and an average of 1,707 miles to travel for each team. It would have been worse if not for the 400 something miles SDSU only had to go. You aren't likely to fill it anyways.

Absolutely. Hopefully they'll keep this in mind in the future.

They replaced Boise with Seattle next year which is like 400 more miles for teams in the East. There just aren't enough teams in the West making the tournament to have multiple locations and until there is they should just have one site that rotates on the coast.

Cameras there were moved up after the remodeled the arena and the season ticket holders complained that the cameras were blocking their view of the game. So they moved them up; way up. It was the only other place to settle them in.

This angle messes with my senses.

It's the "I can't afford good seats to any of these games" SimCam. Adds to the realism. To further enhance the effect, grab your stepladder, set it up in front of the TV and sit on the top step
