Too bad he went 0-4 from 3 when USA needed him.
It was not Diallo or Washington's best game either lol. Reddish is tough, I haven't seen him ranked number 1 anywhere, don't know what rankings OP is referring too.

He didn’t look like a beast on the USA team. Decent but beast? No.
Come on, go back and look at the threads on this board during the first rounds of the tourney, he was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Had a 50+ point game recently that caught gurus' attention. Duke having both Reddish and Barrett on the same squad is sickening.
One positive is that it looks like all the current Duke Freshman will leave so they will have absolutely no depth at all and they they don't have any big guys yet that I know of coming in next year.

K will do everything he can to hold them back.

every single year their is the "most, best, player since LBJ". There have shitloads of most best, greatest players since LBJ. Hell Okafor was the best since LBJ. Not even worth getting hung up on what some dude who never even played the game thinks about such and such player.

You beat me to it lol

They've probably had the current rankings set since November 1st before Barrett committed to Duke, and had already penciled Reddish in at #1 since he had officially committed. Now that they're both Duke commits, don't be surprised in the next ranking when you see:

#1a Barrett
#1b Reddish
#3 Bol
#4 Tre Jones
#5 Zion Williamson

247 also josh jackson was the best recruit they scouted. reddish has a monster 50 pt plus game all of a sudden hes the best ever. quickly gets dropped cause he hasnt really played. Tre Jones isnt better than quickly fyi. Going off his brothers reputation. Langford isnt top 5 in the class, sorry. zion gets dropped cause again he is hurt and not playing. Same site said zion was number 1 in class during summer try outs when zion was clearly best on the court. Keldon Johnson should be a top 10 recruit. and herro will be a 5 star by end of year rankings.

He is rank 1 player now, through Barrett was better .
Me Tarzan. You Jane.

If you're going to troll, it only makes it worse when you write like you just learned how about a month ago.

And 1 person currently has Reddish #1, Jerry Meyer for 247. Meyer has a history of making "I'm different" picks as his #1 overall player, clearly just to get hits and attention. He's the guy who had BJ Mullens #1, and Josh Selby, and Austin Rivers ahead of AD (the only major recruiting guy who stuck with that through his final rankings). He knows those kind of things will get attention.

Cam Reddish is really good, but there's absolutely nothing he can do in regular season HS play that should vault him ahead of Barrett. And yeah, for real UK fans it sucks that Duke probably has the 1-2 players in the class (or 1 and 3), but on the bright side, they have no PG, no big guy, and no depth, and it's hard to see where that's going to come from.

Im not sure Carter goes. I really dont think he will be a lottery pick, and if thats the case rat face will get him to stay another year. Look at Allen, he was projected 1st round a couple years ago, and he is now a senior jumping up and down singing Kaskade. I mean is singing Need you by my Side really better than making a million a year in the NBA? Lets face it, none of these kids give a damn about a degree 99 percent of them will never use. So, Humphries leaves to go get paid and I cant blame him. Rat face likes to use the 1 and Done when its convenient for him.

We will have the best player in next year’s class in Zion Williamson. He will be the most impactful player in CBB.

They lose Allen, Bagley 100%. About 99% they lose Duval. Carter seems likely, Trent is possible. Those 5 are currently playing over 75% of total minutes for them.

The point is, they're not in as good a position as you'd hope for if you sign the 2 best players in a class.

Though I did forget about Tre Jones. His level of play will have a huge impact for them next year.

Cam Reddish is really good, my only question is passion and intensity. He seems to have that Poythress attitude. Like he could take it or leave it. When he’s focused and playing hard..... nobody better in high school, the other 75% of the time he’s a good player but not better than Barrett. Barrett is game ready from the get go. Never plays soft of lackadaisical. That’s what makes him better than Reddish in my opinion. Zion just doesn’t have the skill those dudes have right now. Which is while they’ll get drafted higher but I think ZW puts up better numbers in college.

Reddish exploded for 34pts and then 53pts last week. Looked dominant!

Still surprised 247 put him above RJ Barrett. Barrett has been going off this year as well.

Who knows how things will play out with our team but if Vanderbilt and Alexander are back for us I would think that they could handle Reddish and Barrett. I'm guessing Johnson will be very good defensively as well.

That's what I've been saying since they got Bagley this year, they will lose everybody. I guess it's possible Carter comes back, I mean if he was at UK I would say 100% gone, but K may talk him into coming back.

Reddish and Barrett will both under develop at Duke.
Eventually recruits will catch on. No surefire NBA superstars like Davis, Cousins, Wall, Etc. Just mediocre 1 yr college players. Plus Zion will break their faces.

They are simply doing what Cal did when he first set foot at UK. Sign up the best of the best and send them off to the pros after a season and then sign the best of the best again.
It works if you actually do sign the best of the best. But when you don't sign the mega stars of the class you will not be as good but a lot of those guys will still declare after their freshmen year.

If Coach K has a mass defection of guys to the NBA he will sign more talented guys in their place. Would not surprise me in the least if Zion went to Duke as well and Duke get commitments from a couple other talented guys.
