My guess is that this was a part of the standard testing. If Cam was the only positive and no Patriots test positive in today’s standard pregame tests, my guess is that they will still play.

Actually more than one now. Ta’amu for Chiefs tested positive as well, and NFL statement says positive tests (plural) on both teams. So maybe more coming. Hopefully they can play Monday or Tuesday.

That's what they said originally for the Titans and Steelers, then they moved it to later this month.
The NFL should have built in another bye week for makeups. 2020 gonna 2020.

They can always push back the start of the playoffs and add that bye week in later if they need to.

I've got Edwards-Helaire on one of my teams but have Mike Davis and Darrell Henderson both on the bench so I should be okay. The Titans game being canceled hurt me more.

Probably be hard to move the Super Bowl but they could eliminate that extra week when the Pro Bowl is played before the SB. They could move the first 3 rounds back a week to give them a shot to make games up. Of course that’ll play hell on fantasy football, which I really figure more ppl are concerned with then the actual playing of games.

I’m sure there will be more. Once this hits a team it seems to produce more positive test each passing day. Hopefully not but I wouldn’t be shocked to see more positive test tomorrow for the pats.

What our commish is doing is creating an IR position. If the game plays on Monday or Tuesday, you will get credit for a player like Mahomes. If the cancel it before 1 tomorrow, then it will be up to us to make sure we have the starter we want in there .

That is pretty much how I’m doing our league when it’s a late call on whether games will be played. It’s gonna take exceptionally deep teams to win this year, and some luck thrown in. I’ve got Derrick Henry, James Connor, and Tyreek Hill. With the first two out I really need thar KC to be played.

or they can move it to President's day weekend. That way we all can recover on Monday.
