True ... it's actually very sad but he won't change and he has to go. We can talk about the damage already done but how much more damage is he willing to do?
Wish I didn't have admit Cal isn't half the coach Pitino is.
the truth is...Cal got carried by Anthony Davis.
And that championship game was way more competitive than it should have been.
It's a shame I was in love with what Cal could be here but he's not capable of it.
And the unbelievably frustrating thing is how we keep crapping away fortunate situations that come our way.
We get UCONN in the final game and look horrible.
We get Kansas State to get to another final four and throw a complete dud
We get Auburn after they lose one of their starters and another dud wasting that
then we finally get an easy path this year and crap the biggest one.

He tried ... went stall ball in the second half and let Kansas back in the game.
Yep. If I recall, we were up by something like 17 at one point and let them get right back in it. If Gilchrist hadn’t made that incredible block they were going to cut it to 3 or 5 or so. That team was just so supremely talented it was hard for him to choke it away.
What was the unc guard that got hurt that year? If unc stays healthy and made the title game do we win?
Yes this teams inability to close this game out in regulation with a 6 point lead with just over 3 mins left in game is on Cal!!
Sad and so disappointing!
Almost dribbled the air out of that one to a loss, too. Bill Self had it right, they really did just run out of time.
