I type slow, for you Kampuss.

And with paragraphs for you.

Cal good man, his coaching and OAD sucks.

Done with Cal because don't like system.

Cal good salesman but can't deliver what he sold to us 10 years ago. (Sorry for long sentence.)

Cal excuse machine, very good at this.

I'm UK fan, not Cal fan any more. Apparently, growing numbers seem to agree. (Sorry for two consecutive sentences)

I'm done with Cal and done with you also, Kampuss.

That's it. May the slurping continue and I truly regret the interruption. (Sorry for two consecutive sentences)

Carry on!!
Bye Felicia

Lol Wow. Stinking up the place with all that jibberish.

No coach is perfect and I have my disagreements with how Cal coaches but the crap your trying to put out there is beyond rediculous.
At UK, it's about championships, or used to be, and at least seriously competing for them, until Cal arrived. Losing to Auburn without their best big is r"i"diculous...in the Final Eight, no less.

(new paragraph, for Kampuss) Why did this happen? There are a multitude of very valid reasons that are a result of Cal's decisions and track record.

(thinking about you Kampon) You're entitled to your opinion, as am I, we just differ, that's what makes the market. But to say my opinion is "crap" because you disagree speaks more to a difference in insight or ability to think rationally than actual quality in fact...don't you think?

The problem with message boards and social media in general is that they attract irrational stupid people in droves. I know tons of UK fans in the real world and don’t hear any of the utter stupidity in person that you see online. If the op and people like him are that upset with the bb program at UK then I would suggest they look elsewhere for enjoyment. But something tells me they’ll have a hard time finding it.

I don’t take jabs at any posters, and I won’t start now. But I get the impression that the OP isn’t enjoying “The Process” with “The Freshman”. I know they’re “young”, but “I like my team”.

Looks like Cal will be here a long time. So since you’re done with him you’ll probably wanna find another team to go support. I say good riddance to you and all the other miserable nut jobs like you.

OP must be a teenager with no concept of UK bball history.

From 1958 to 1978 UK had just three Final Fours and no titles. That's 20 years. We had arguably the greatest coach of all time during much of that period and arguably our best player (Issel) in program history during that time.

From 1978 to 1996 UK had two total Final Four appearances and no titles.

From 1998 to 2010 UK had no Final Four appearances and no titles. That's over a decade drought.

Cal has produced four Final Four appearances and one title in 10 years.

So, why are we concerned about a four year drought of no Final Fours given the history of our program? This is nowhere near the longest drought.

Remember the Smith era and the BCG years and pray Cal stays until he retires.

Even if he doesn't deliver another title, he is still the second best coach to ever coach here based on his four Final Fours and a title.

Same folks on here griping about Cal will crucify his replacement after the first loss. Book it!

Good post! The landscape is totally different nowadays. Rupp, Pitino, Hall, didn’t have to deal with losing players after one year. Totally different era of college basketball. Totally NOT Cal’s doing either. They’re gonna leave whether he tells them to or not. The money being given to players drafted nowadays is akin to winning the lottery. You really expect these kids (most of whom come from poverty) to turn that down to play for an education and a championship? An education wouldn’t earn them in a lifetime, what their first contract will pay them most of the time. What Cal has accomplished in 10 years is more impressive than than what Wooden accomplished in his tenure at UCLA. Again, it’s a different game these days. Hell, freshmen didn’t play back then!! And players didn’t have the option to go pro after one year. How has coach K fared with the best recruiting classes? How about Kansas? Or Arizona? Those 3 and UK have landed the best classes during Cal’s tenure. I’ll take Cal any day!! The only reason he doesn’t get the top of the class players now?

Kansas - Under investigation
Arizona - under investigation
Duke - should be under investigation. But we all know that won’t happen
UK - not a hint of investigation

No thanks! I’ll take the man that does it the right way and refuses to be owned by the system, the player, or the handlers. That is called putting UK first and doing what’s best for the kids.
