Dearest Ca - you have inmates.....many of whom are non-violent....wouldn't it make sense to use that inmate population to clear brush, litter, and debris from your woodlands?

@moe would be happy to help. It's an active policy out there to not clear out the undergrowth. Why? They are running out of water

California is such a rich state in every metric but remains a **** hole ..... only themselves to blame .

Probably against California law to encourage/force inmates to work. It's beyond me, but it's Cali-everyone is nuts-fornia.

I like when the mayor or fire chiefs are giving a press conference making all their excuses and asking for anyone to come help, while they have 50+ people standing behind them shaking their heads in agreement. Couldn’t they be of some help rather than just standing behind whoever is speaking.
