Better there than Wisconsin. God that would've sucked having to play him with the way Wisconsin owns Nebraska already.

Personally, I don't think he wanted anything to do with going up against BIG defenses week after week.

Outside of Gabriel, where does that leave OU at QB? It appears from the outside OU may have some problems this year.
They have two other returnees, Ralph Rucker and former Penn State transfer Micah Bowens. Brent Venables also signed the #4 dual-threat QB in the nation, Nick Evers to this year's class. Evers is a high character guy who is going to donate his NIL proceeds to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Good choice by Williams because he's no Russell Wilson and Russell Wilson was the only QB that could make that badgers offense really click.

Any chance he and his people floated Wisconsin to drive up the price

He wasn't going back to OU after the sorority girls outed him. He'll have to be careful at USC since the word out on him. Maybe just dip a toe into the water ..

Wasn’t smothers the #4 dual threat QB in his class ? I still think he may be good once he gets some real coaching.
