Damon commented on the other board that there is a long way to go, kid is just a sophomore. He also added that kid is way better than him at same age and he has a chance. He's also quite the bball player so it will be intersting to see what develops here....
As a Westside grad I have watched many of their games this year. I would say he has played ok but nothing that really stands out. Rezac is clearly their best player this year. They had a rather weak schedule outside of playing Grand Island & Prep. Of course Benning is just a sophomore so he could blossom in the next few years. Will be interesting to see how he plays in the playoffs as Westiside will eventually play some better competition.
Not sure if he has the size to play basketball at the next level. I would think football is more likely for him in college and maybe beyond....
