I saw something on Twitter/X from a fake Jimmy Dykes account that Stokes was visiting Arkansas tomorrow. 
Cal is gonna get talent but he is a worst in game coach, than most. During time outs or 2nd halves he does nothing different. You can hate on our coach all you want but covid killed cals coaching abilities. If he didn't hang his hat we would have never had to get a new coach.
That account owner has some serious issues- Kentucky is living rent free it seems.

I think that account owner just enjoys a good troll. Our most coveted recruit getting swooped up at the last minute by our former coach? Top tier ragebait, maybe just a little too obvious though.

Yeah this past (post)season solidified my belief that we never have to worry about Cal winning a title at Ark. He got demolished by a very good Arizona team in the S16, who turned around and got demolished by Michigan a week later. He had arguably the most talented team in the country (maybe 2nd to Duke) and they were not one of the ten best teams in CBB.
He’s won a title. If he has a stud team he’s definitely a threat to get to a ff. Cal should have gone no where until Barney left. Our terrible administration
No last year he made it to one round past us he was awful. I'm glad he is gone. I don't care if we get smaller players, pope is a better coach than cal. His recruiting is what is hurting us. I hope it gets better.

Like when he convinced Somoto Cyril to come to Arkansas and then 2 days later Cyril enters the portal while Arkansas fans are celebrating….then Cyril commits to Miami?

A lot of coaches can win a title with a "stud" team. But that is the only way cal can. At least once in 14 tries anyway
We may still have him if that didn't happen like you said & yes, he'd still be getting talent, however, we'd still be getting frustrated with his coaching of that talent & lack of in game coaching. One of the frustrating things about him is he coaches those talented players to showcase it for the NBA, not to change things up to win the game, drove me crazy.
Good. Then that should be a win at Rupp next year!
Were frustrated either way, so I think I would prefer to get the horses, and be in the race, instead of what we have gone through with recruiting, to this point anyway.

It's frustrating either way, I'm hoping we can find players that fit the system at this point. I like Zoom & i would like to get the 2 players on campus right now (Wilkins & Sebastian).
In a dream scenario Stokes would come play with Zoom.
He did have the best guard in the nation but the front court was very shaky at best. Pringle and Ewin were just not that good. We had much better inside players although they rarely showed up.
