Would like to see Boston’s plus/minus this game.
Dontaie struggled just as much as Boston did.

I’m with this the rest of you guys that Allen should play more but lets not kid ourselves, this entire teams sucks. DA is not going to win us any games. Maybe he’d be good for one extra win?

I’d like to see what Allen looked like if he got Boston’s minutes, had his long leash, and had as much emphasis placed on his game as BJ.

yes he did. The difference is Cal puts Allen in a few minutes then yanks him out, sits him for a long time, then puts him in for a couple minutes. You can’t get any rhythm like that...on the other hand, Boston plays 36 minutes....no excuses
Neither player deserved many minutes. Allen isn’t the answer and his role will never be more than spot up shooter. We’ve needed that player in the past because other player demanded double teams.

Meh. We couldn’t score and he leaves him on the bench til under 4 to go. I didn’t get to watch the first half, btw. Only got to catch the second.
They’re not winning the SEC. Not sure they can win 1 more.

Allen needs to get stronger with the ball off the bounce, and thus team needs better passers all around.

Boston no business in the game period but he was in there for the full 24-6 TN run. DA not good tonight and beginning to think he’s just not going to be good playing for calipari. He looked amazing when cal got sent to the showers but really hasn’t looked all that great sense. He lets cal get in his head and just doesn’t play the game, think he’s just playing the season out and will move elsewhere.
Put him in the game when nobody else can score. He waited til under 4 minutes to put him in.
I agree. What does BJ need to get better at? Which one do we have a better chance of getting a second year from? At this point that’s who I’m playing.
Some people don’t understand that Allen spreads the floor to a degree. This makes Brooks Sarr and everyone better
You gotta put your best offensive threat in the game when you can’t score. It’s as simple as that. I don’t give a damn how much Allen sucked in the first half. Someone HAS TO SCORE!
Of course Allen struggled. His play time is inconsistent because some fumb duck keeps playing BJ Boston.
Allen’s release is crazy fast, just trying to get any shot off now because he knows he will get pulled. His shot looks kinda broken. Need to slow it down a tad.
I’ve said that for a few games now and got ridiculed for it. It’s obvious he’s rushing now since Cal has publicly called him out and you can hear him screaming on tv shooooott everytime Allen catches the ball.
I love Dontaie but he is not superman this team tries to make the hard play
