He's only going to be a Junior this year. Really young for his class too.
Signing the #1 player in 2022 and the #1 player in 2023 would certainly inject a lot of energy into the program. Bringing popular in-stater Sheppard with Wagner would be icing on the cake.
Really don't see him reclass as ralph pointed out he is very young. His Dad most likely helping with decisions as he has been through being recruited himself.
He looks a hell of a lot better than Chris Mack.

Yeah he's too young to reclass and be eligible for the draft that year. He's a true Junior. Not one of these kids like Cassius Stanley that is 20 and still in HS
He is not "really young for his class". He is the appropriate age for his class.
I have watched many games that DJ has played. He is light years above the rest. He should be the Number 1 recruit that Coach Cal is after.
