Just acting as stupid as I've seen you all get in here...over a game. But without the creeping on College Kids.
I am impressed that you were able to keep this sleeper account for nigh on 20 years. How many more do you have?
Joined in Sept 2005, 136 total messages, 99 of which were just in the last 90 days - many of them attacking people. Yeah, that doesn't raise any red flags.....

ROFL.

What Cal confirmed is that his strategy to wait players out (whether we agree with their decisions or not) resulting in us losing out on nearly ALL of the top level options from the portal.

We've been held hostage, yet again, and Cal is holding the bag of sh*t we're left with.

What a flipping dipsh*t.

AND YOU'RE RIGHT THERE WITH HIM PATTING HIM ON THE BACK.
I swear, Cal just said some words so I told you all it’s fine! We got all the players we need guys. Cal promised he’s doing this the right way.

Translation....
I've got 7 kids on scholly, I was held hostage again and now I am scrambling to piece together a Frankenstein roster from the bits and scraps the big time programs tossed aside.
Clown's gotta go
I seen a funny tweet that said right now you would take all of Tubby’s players you ran off. “Hey Mark Coury stay by the phone!”

All you cal defenders show your true colors every single time. It's all politics with you. And attacking Rupp when all this supposed racist stuff has been debunked? You should be banned on sight.
You all should be a better fan! Pardon me while I hate on the person responsible for our current standing in the basketball hierarchy.

You say that. His management that actually understands basketball says…Welcome to NIL and the portal. Who to believe? Some random nobody with an axe to grind or people that know what is actually happening.

Six more years…..
If he has another piss poor year like the last 4 their won't be anyone in the stands to even boo him. Half a decade of crappy results doesn't cut it at UK.

Man, it's gotta be hard to keep up with all these sock accounts. 130 posts in 18 years?
I don't think all of this person's accounts are this old. One day I was reading a thread and some random person commented. I hadn't seen them before so I looked and they had a join date from like 2005 and it was their first message. That got me thinking. I've been seeing several of these supposedly older accounts that all say the same thing and have hardly any messages, or haven't posted in years until one day when they post like 73 messages in one day. And they always attack the fans and disparage Kentuckians with all the usual tropes.
I remember right after I joined that guy Morg talking about a rogue moderator. I'm now starting to believe it. Who else can set their own join date?

We heard that last year. And the year before. He says 6 more years. Guess what?

I don’t put a ton of stock in what he says - guy is a spin master. We have enough evidence from watching a decade and a half of actions that words don’t matter much.

I believe that the bulk of his plan was always to run with the freshmen, so I don’t exactly think he’s completely lying.

I think he never wanted Oscar to stay. I think he was too scared to recruit over Oscar + potential transfers were scared to compete with the potential of Oscar returning.

I think he would have preferred to retain Livingston since he’s a Cal recruit who came in as a freshman.

I think he should have gone all in on Reeves or gone all in on recruiting over Reeves a long time ago. I think he was fine with Reeves leaving, but it’s late in the game now and he realizes that we are better off with him than without him.

So yeah. I don’t exactly think Cal is lying. But he’s a marketer, trying to sell an increasingly less marketable product to a client base for which he barely hides his disdain.

reeves coming back is about the best that could be expected from those three . It’s not breaking news Oscar and Livingston ( Klutch client ) are leaving . Having ware , Fredrick and Collins leaving is what have us in a pure numbers crunch ….now we need to scramble for 3 guys . We missed on the SD state guy because of playing time and role. Theoretically , the game and numbers of Reeves and Livingston ( 20 ppg total from the two - very little defense ) aren’t terribly hard to replace ….but who now this late?

Personally, I wouldn’t have kicked CJ out the door as short as our roster is, and with shooting being a question.

Completely understand his under performance and injury issues last season. Still could have been a steadying voice/presence for our young guards, even if he never got off the bench.
