[Jim E Russell]

This is going to upset the dozens of fans that want him gone for some asinine reason.

Maybe those twelve will finally leave once and for all since CAL isn't going anywhere soon.

[BBUK_anon]

P_SS on those fans. Sorry about that but it is what it is...

[GLR5555]

This just might push some over the edge.

[Tampa_cat54_rivals112262]

YESSSSS!!!!

They're a real drag around here. I can never tell if they're serious and stupid or if they're just messing with me.

[drew_ukfan_rivals]

Hell Yeah!!!

[akaukswoosh]

Calipari is expected to address the new contract during his radio show at 6 p.m

This just might push some over the edge.

That may be a good thing. Not much on the wishy washy...

[WildcatfaninOhio]

Love it!

[IYAOYAS1]

That’s awesome!!! I love Coach Cal

[TNCatfanforever]

I couldn’t be happier now just go get number nine

[gojvc]

Personally, I’m thrilled with the new contract. Obviously, no sane person wants him gone. I love the man but count me among those that believes he needs to adjust some in terms of how he builds his roster.

[HerrosHeroes]

wonder if its open ended or 15 more years or how it will be written?

[Elliott Tim]

P_SS on those fans. Sorry about that but it is what it is...

Is that an A, E, I,O, or U between the P and the S?:sunglasses:

[bthaunert]

Good stuff. Never, in a million years, would I have thought that he would be the 2nd longest tenured coach in UK history when we got him in 2009. Looks like that will happen.

[TFCat11]

Hell Yeah!!!

Thanks Cal! Now we’re going to lose 50% of the comic relief around here! Not let’s Chew Bubblegum, and Kick @$$, so we can keep them gone!
@Haters, Cal just informed me, he’s all out of Bubblegum lol!!

[Bluegrassking]

Excellent! Let's load up on the hardware over the next decade plus.

[UKhoopCat]

I love it too. I wouldn't trade Cal for any other coach.

[Rupp'sRunt]

200 mill over the next 15 years

[HerrosHeroes]

I am ishing you. Im sure it'll be in that ball park though.

Lol it really is about 12 or so. I’ve voiced my concerns and hope for a change in philosophy going forward, but under no circumstances do I want Cal gone. He’s the perfect man for the job and I’m happy that he will be here to mentor the new coach on the ambassador side of things.

[EmCats3]

Man a real sad time to think Cal should be fired. Be a real shame if all those fans left :joy:

[HerrosHeroes]

So the report is for a 10 year extention. That would be on the back of the contract thru 2024 right? So 2034?

[BlueBloodKyFan73]

Like the Golden Arches says “I’M LOVIN IT”

[kybassfan]

Great news. Watch out for jumping CLOD.

[RoyKent]

“It had nothing to do with all the other stuff. Every year that I’m here, something at the end of the year happens. Someone’s trying to call or talk,” Calipari said. “You think of what we’ve built, the culture that we’ve built. We’ve done it all kind of different ways. We’ve got good kids. The academics, that we’re allowed to give lifetime scholarships. We’re allowed to bring these kids back. We insure these kids. This is a situation and a culture that’s taken time to build. Where else would I want to coach?”

He added, “This is a unique place and I appreciate the opportunities I’ve had here.”

The timing is impeccable. Ten years ago to the date, John Calipari was introduced as the Cats’ head coach.

Technology exists today (D-Wave), that will allow Cal to coach UK past death, and beyond. Astral Interfrequency AI Holographic Projection! All is well, HH!

[Verbal Kint II]

Weird how some of these same people think it was the worst decision ever now.

[Verbal Kint II]
