You're not a UK fan. And if you are, you are the worst type...the type that makes the good one's roll their eyes in embarassment when you beat your chest acting like you had something to do with it any time UK wins a game.... The type that wears UK gear from head to toe while acting like a complete tool.

A few weeks ago he said we should expect a title every single year (with his chest stuck out and wife-beater on). Two days later, he said he'd trade 5 bad years for one title. He can't get out of his own way. I'm guessing he's 13 or 14 years old.
I'm 7.

Gee, I'm glad he "doesn't mind" coming back. It's great to know we aren't getting in his way or anything.

You can take that quote anyway you want, but I think he is speaking to the people who constantly say these kids don't wanna come back to UK. Like the people who say he never had any intention of playing, and he's gone regardless. May also be addressing the people who say some of the kids hate college. For most of us, we are fans, and we tend to forget that these kids still have to go to class and put forth at least a little effort on schoolwork.

Damn I can't believe you didn't kill yourself during the Tubby and BCG years. We have a chance to win a title pretty much every year Cal is here and that DEFINITELY wasn't the case before he arrived. That's all any reasonable fan can ask for.
Were we getting the top recruiting class yr after yr during those yrs?

I said that before and got blasted by Poedunk or whatever that guys name is. Cal's last sentence says it all. It's clearly not worth it for him to deal with this kind of stuff, and I'll say it yet again - he'll never fiddle with this mid-season enrolee stuff again. Is this a knock on Cal? Of course it's not. He didn't see this coming - his last sentence basically says that.
How on Earth did he not see this coming? The kid declined to play in games last season. If I were the coach I would have told Diallo "play or go get out of that jersey".

No, I mean he didn't see this coming when he brought him in on day 1... at least I don't think he did. Regardless, I'll be shocked if he ever does this again. Let's get it over with and move on. I want Bamba and let's go.

My point is we should have more success given we have had them.
Again, if we had them multiple years, you might have a point. But we don't. And being in the hunt is all that can be realistically asked.

Yeah, if you got that talent for more than one year, you might have a point. Cal has to start over every year. And yes, I know that's his choice.
Whether he chooses or not, he really doesn't have a true shot at a title each year BECAUSE of a lack of veteran leadership, among other things.

If you want to have a chance to win a title every year you have to recruit like Cal does. That means there will be roster turnover every year because guys will be leaving for the draft. I'll take being a top 10 or better team every year that has a chance to hang a banner over the lazy recruiting of Tubby and the dysfunctional coaching of BCG anytime. If Cal stays another 10 years I have no doubt he'll win multiple titles during that time.

Why did you join this board last Friday? It's already troll infested, and you aren't a particularly clever or original one. TItles1 has already staked out the ludicrous ground that going to the Elite Eight six times in eight years, the Final Four four times and winning a title is somehow not a remarkable achievement.

Trust me, all true Kentucky fans know better. And we are laughing at your transparent nonsense.

You already exposed yourself a couple days ago with the charge that Cal was okay with early exits so he could prepare for the draft -- despite the fact that he has won more NCAA tournament games since he got to Kentucky in 09-10 than ANY coach at any program.

Enduring the likes of you two phonies is the price Cat fans pay for being part of the BBN - the greatest program in college hoops history.

These idiot trolls know they can't win any arguments with facts so they have to resort to hiding their true identity and taking subtle shots at us. It's pretty pathetic imo.

I doubt he was coaxed to play much. It would have meant Briscoe didn't play. Cal was trying to showcase Briscoe.

If he actually works out for teams next week that will tell the tale. At this point he seems to be moving up boards without touching a basketball. I'm not sure if he should even work out for anybody unless he dictates exactly what he will be doing in the workout. If it's just individual stuff he probably should. If they are gonna bring him in to go against another potential draftee he might be wise to skip it. Before y'all start, I don't get it either, but NBA teams do stupid stuff all the time.

Why not come back. If you're worth anything, your athletic ability is still there and you're lotto the next year.

Don't play the what if he gets hurt game. Most pessimistic perspective ever and with that attitude he's not going to be too successful.

I expect more than one with the talent that has rolled through here over last 7 yrs. Some of you sound like Tammy.

Lol...really? Titles are rare you goon. If Cal stayed 38 seasons I'm sure he could match Coach K's 5 in 38. And Coach K has had some major talent that DID NOT win it. Does that make him a bad coach?

No coach today can come close to Cal's success with a new young team every year & they're learning that the hard way. It's a whole lot more than rolling the balls out.

But I wouldn't expect a mentally challenged dumbass like you to get it. You're not mentally capable.

Mock drafts ar guess that end up being 25% right max (and most of that comes from the obvious top picks) so going by that when it comes to picks outside of the top 5 won't tellsyou anything

No credible mock draft I've seen has Diallo at 20-21. I've seen him at 23, and not in the first round. And that was before a bunch of guys who DID play the 5-on-5 had a chance to improve their stock.

We'll see soon enough.
