By the way, we have seen this in College basketball before. Jarnell Stokes joined Tennessee in January and was playing 2 games after he was eligible. And contributing a lot. So it’s not batshit crazy to think a guy as good as Sharpe could step in and play.
Just another reason he should be gone yesterday, I would donate to his buy out. I cannot stand Cal and nothing he can do will ever change my mind. Technically you’re making a bigger assumption by saying he will never play, since all parties involved are saying he will play next year
At the absolute minimum I think you would have to at least understand why pretty much everyone has a hard time believing a projected top 10 pick is going to come back to college when he’s eligible for the draft. We’ve seen a lot of guys talk about coming back next year only to “change their mind” when it comes down to brass tacks.
