I don’t think Cal needs to tell them, if they can’t see on their own that they aren’t close to Pro ball players then something is wrong. What is Knox, Diallo, Richards doing an better that we haven’t seen players from any other power conference team that we have played do. Knox was giving up straight line drives to the transfer from Rice. Florida’s starting center made more threes than anyone else on our team.

i am not sure Cal needs to say that. Most know that without Cal uttering a single word. It is obvious when you watch a UK game.

First let me say that I am a huge Cal fan. I have been from the start. And I will be until the end of his tenure at UK. But I am getting more and more concerned that his method of in game coaching may be costing him recruits.

This may not be a popular sentiment, but I think if we are honest it is apparent to anyone watching UK games that Cal is tougher on his players during a game than virtually any other coach this side of Frank Martin. Even when he has recruits sitting behind the bench they see him chewing out players and "losing his mind" as they come off of the court. The poor body language of our players after they are pulled from a game after making a mistake has become more and more noticeable over the past several years.

It is rare that you see most other coaches including Rat Face that openly berate their players on national TV . Sort of makes you wonder if the best players and / or their parents now feel that they will get the same draft position with or without Cal, so why not go for the kinder and gentler coach?

Careful, I made the same point after the Tennessee game and caused quite a stir. For some reason a lot don't see this.

It's only appealing to those who need the Kentucky hype because their games aren't good enough to be one-and-done on their own. I hope Cal isn't the last person to realize this.
