You don't really have to focus on them to have some basic recall of names and faces. You're acting like people are weird for rembering names that are said repeatedly throughout every broadcast.

Ok then, I do think it’s weird but we all have our weird stuff. Admittedly I am horrible with names and faces.

I’m not a casual fan. As a matter of fact I have coached a lot of ball, multiple sports. The guys who coach with me will always be saying hey do remember that ref? I’m always like no, I do not remember any of those ********. I’m sure they matter to some people. They just don’t matter to me. They are props.
